It all comes back around doesn't it? Light can fly out in all directions
an like a cosmic boomerang, it will converge back upon you. If there is one
thing I can't stand about this hackneyed life, it's the performance. There
is this unceasing structure supporting every action we undertake. My will
to conform. To break this up into paragraphs. To write in complete sentences.
To tell you what you want to hear. What entertains you? You look at me, and
you want to see yourself. If you're not here, you'll go somewhere else to find it.
Your eyes are sewn shut. You're a tough guy with Rambo eyelids. The falseness
is seeping in and out of you as you scroll down to grasp a sense of order and
see how others have rated what you would so desperately love to define. What
are these words, but definition upon a blank, formless page? To them you will
add your spine to the pile. Fill your niche like a bunch of metal shavings along
the magnetic lines of least resistence. Fall right in like a gaggle of babbling cattle.
You fucking disgust me. I fucking disgust me. You think you're so free. Thinking
you're free is the most imprisoning thought you could ever think. Thinking you're
an individual is the most humdrum thought you could ever think. A black sheet hangs
across the threshold of function and paralysis - between what you tell yourself
is true to make it all make sense, and the actual truth of the completely senseless.
Insanity is a frozen popcicle - a crystalline TV screen licked by the seekers of truth.
They stare transfixed upon the picture of their own needs - their own motives.
Unmoving. Omniscient. Blind. Most will not make it this far, and for those that do,
there will be no reward. There will be no grand prize to validate your utter waste of time.
You're one of those contestants on 'The Price is Right' who are never able to progress
in the game - never able to listen through the rabbling din of the opinionated crowd behind
them for the feeble inner voice that turns out invariably to have been right all along.
There is no consolation prize at the end of the game. The Universe does not give out free
juicers to losers, and winners get no Tahitian vacation. There are no palm trees at the end of the rainbow....

Unfortunately, people can't assess things they do not understand (Unless they want to risk guessing about everything) And people who are largely incorrect or inaccurate are rarely welcome among intelligent groups. Its just the way things have to be. You hang out with people you can relate to and share life experience, or you hang out with a bunch of idiots that are always wrong and eventually someone beats you to death. This world is survival of the fittest and the inconsequential: if you aren't one of those two things, you're going to have problems.

I will have to sternly disagree with this point. I happen to think that mailboxes serve a rather valuable purpose.

You could always do what What the Hell does and just keep responding to every single reply you get. That's bound to up your hits at least.

That's brilliant! But who would do such a thing!?!? ;)

"I am perfectly content with loathing the insurmountable limitations of being human and following the circle all the way back around to the conclusion that it's all beautiful, and I'd really rather not know. "
Excellent! That will save me a lot of time, then, because that's basically where I am too. Sweet.

Ah SHIT! I guess that means my hopes for getting this little gem on most heated have been dashed against the craggy cliffs of disappointment.
And I would have succeeded too if it weren't for that pesky 'beauty of living' thing.

Teephphah: who said I was unhappy? There is the fallacy in your assumption. I am perfectly content with loathing the insurmountable limitations of being human and following the circle all the way back around to the conclusion that it's all beautiful, and I'd really rather not know.

Hey, how's that nihilism working out for you?
If it is all so pointless, why are you spending so much time and energy being unhappy?
Have a beer. Because, as Freddy Mercury once said, "Nothing really matters."

i'm not sure one could stretch an anecdote to 50,000 words.
Unless you were electrictoothsyndrome he thinks brevity is a type of Tea.
