Dude, no. Stargate is awesome. I'll concede that maybe, in the NINE YEARS it's been on, some of the awesomeness has faded, but there is no way you will convince me that that show isn't badass.

That movie was made by sci-fi and that's why it sucked the only thing that sci-fi can do right are Mini Series like Taken and Battlestar Galactica and even then they need the help of some one like Spielberg. Conclusion, Bruce Cambell rocks, the Sci-Fi channel sucks
