Regardless of whether or not this HAS happened, this is exactly the reason that all "e-vote" machines MUST have (at least) one paper register. Ultimately, there should be 2 paper registers. One, a printed, emobossed/sealed "receipt" for the voter to take, and one which remains with the machine to re-tabulate if serious allegations are raised.
Without backup measures, one or both of the methods for vote-swapping could occur, and the mere allegation is enough to call the democratic process into question. Regardless of which party wins.

Why did the major media outlets change their exit poll results to be in line with the official results in states that used electronic voting machines? I trust the mainstream media about as far as I can throw them when it comes to voicing anything that could be as staggering as this. However I can't really answer your question, is government censorship so far spread that not one single paper would publish this? Possibly but doubtful. However, the internet is truly the last free media outlet, people from the left and right can post anything they want, I say wait for this to spread and see the discussions on it and whether anyone discredits it or not. If it spreads further and further and no one can discredit it, then chances are it's true. Also by discredit I mean actually discredit it with facts, not say that because it's rich and fat that it's facts mean nothing.

I also distrust the mainstream media, obviously not as much as you or Chinaski, but I dont blindly accept anything for fact no matter who says it. Of course its possible that the presidential election was rigged, and I am cynical enough to believe that the powers that be would do everything in their power to hush it up. However, I also believe that if some average guy could find a blog making an accusation such as this, elite reporters would have found it first. Elite reporters from all over the world would love to break a story of that magnatude. So these reporters would be going over this thing with a fine tooth comb, and apparantly they are finding a problem with this blog. I also believe that if this happened the witness who was testifying on tape, probably would have been silenced before he had a chance to testify.
