Do you all remember President Bush's decision to liberate the Iraqi people and take the evil dictator Saddam out of power? Well I've seen more than enough lies and bad-mouthing of our great President. I'm here to tell you all the truth once and for all.
You all say that we invaded without proper cause for concern, despite the fact that the CIA told Bush that there were weapons in Iraq. Not only that, but British AND Russian intelligence confirmed that they had WMD. With the thread of WMD, we could not ignore the opportunity to protect Iraq's neighbors from them. George W. Bush took the initiative to help the world and, along with Tony Blair, eliminated the threat Saddam Hussein posed.
There are also claims that Iraq had no connections to terrorist groups, which is just a blatant lie. Where do you think the terrorists come FROM? It's common horse sense, people. Put 2 and 2 together, you get 4.
Now, Bush refuses to back down despite the Iraqi insurgents' terroristic tactics. In fact, Afghanistan is sending in troops to re-inforce Iraqi insurgents, as well as funds from heroin sales. I'm proud to live in a nation where we have such a great leader who isn't afraid to face down threats where they stand. I'm sure you can all agree with me; feel free to argue any of these points, the facts stand for themselves.

Actually, Carol, they are called brackets. Paraentheses is a generic, catch-all term used to cover the use of punctuation to include partially irrelevant text within the main body. Thus any number of punctuative marks can be used, viz: - -, [ ], { }, ( ), ~ ~. Though most of these are reserved for specific disciplines (science or mathematics, etc.), you can use any of these and still be technically gramatically correct. The only alternative to the use of paraentheses is the use of foodnotes or endnotes, but these are more commonly reserved for references.
Additionally, it is correct to place a comma or full stop as appropriate (not an apostrophe as you named it), after the closing bracket regardless of the use of punctuation within the brackets, which should also be used as appropriate.
And, just one more thing, before you go running to dictionary.com to prove me wrong, I have numerous books here which can confirm what I have just written.
And additionally, being dyslexic does not and should never preclude someone from majoring in English... As I understand it (someone qualified please correct me if I am wrong), dyslexia is a brain condition which forces those who suffer to read words and write letters in a way they cannot control and often know to be incorrect. My fiance suffers from this condition and his intelligence has never been questioned.

See, I would agree with you if it made me unable to use English. But when I'm not typing away at 90wpm to keep up with people on the Internet, I'm fine.
I'm doing find in all my classes, so obviously it isn't a problem. Things like Microsoft Word will fix d/b and switching two letters around, but they won't fix generally bad writing or to/too.

I actually agree that a dictator has no right to stay in power, and the invasion was probably a good thing.

What gives us (the U.S.) the right to invade a country because its supposedly a threat and has WMD? If the U.S. eventually wiped out all the WMD in all other countries, would it also disarm itself?

And Bush is not *America*. Bush is an elected leader, and if disagreeing with a democratically elected leader was being a traitor to your country, we would always elect the same one, and democracy would have no purpose.
