Will I be forgiven in death?
Don't mean to be a drag today. It's Monday morning and we all need to get it going.
But here is this;
My first wife, Maria, was an incredibly lovely woman. She had the longest, finest, straight black hair you could ever want from a woman. The Raven had nothing on her. And her eyes were the greenest of green. Her skin was the shade of a ripened olive. (Not green, asshole. A beautiful shade of tan/brown).
And I loved her. But I also hurt her. And she up and died. And when she died, I didn't even have the chance to say "goodbye," or "I love you," or, "I'm sorry I hurt you, my love," or anything like that. One day, while I was at sea, I was simply told, "Fireman Ebola, We regret to inform you that your wife has passed away." And I was put back to duty. Never mind this woman taught me a foreign language. Never mind this woman taught me computer science. NEVER FUCKING MIND this woman taught me that people are NOT evil, and the world is capable of love. I lost her, and that was that.
And then there came along my second wife, with hair as Auburn as a sunset, and green eyes to wither you (again, the greenest of eyes....it was just coincedence). And again, I HURT her, more so than I hurt Maria. And I loved her, as much, perhaps even more, than I loved Maria, but for so many different reasons.....
So I ask you. If I'm sorry, which I AM...will I be forgiven upon my death? And when I die, will I see them again?

"Hurt" is a vague word.
Regret is a bitch, and "I'm sorry" goes a long way.
Why wait for forgiveness in death when you can have it in life (at least with one of them)?
