I typically dont have much of a problem with school. Yeah, it bores me, and yeah its tedious and i just think about going home while im there, but every silver lining has a touch of grey right? Today though, my day is starting off so hellishly, I think I want to launch into a little schpiel about it.
So some of you know that monday morning is my time to sit on ubersite and listen to floyd and just kill 3 periods untill my first class. Its the time when I can just relax. This time just got a lot worse. As i was sitting here, two classes came in. so there are about 30 people in the library milling about. The kid that looks like Cid from toy story is here, but he is at the other side of the room, and isnt tapping his computer screen like last time. But that isnt too bad compared to the problem today.
Today the problem are two girls sitting to my right. They are loud and obnoxious and one of them keeps looking at me like i am some kind of specimen in a cage or something. They are both brazilian. How do I know that? They wont shut the fuck up about it. "Im so homesick for Brazil, I hate the states...blah blah blah blah.." they are talking about "Hot new jamms" on our rap radio station and they are being very loud and one of them just kicked me but im not sure which one. One of them is looking around like she is keeping an eye out for the INS or DEA of ATF or FBI or god knows what organization but i swear she is like some kind of newvous rodent.
One of them just gestured to me but i cant hear what they are saying because i turned up my headphones to full blast to drown out their babbling. I am babbling right now, but my point is....what the fuck. All i want is my nice quiet monday, the one day of the week when i can just have a nice day at school, and 2 loud bitches have to screw it up for me.
Holy shit, now one of them is clapping........ i should have stayed home.

typical music fascist... is afraid that somone will hear about the bootleg, get it, and like it... jeeze... but on a related note, i have an awesome floyd bootleg, i cant let you hear it and i cant tell you where it is from and when though....

I hate to always steer my replies away from the subject matter, but I always find something that someone says amusing and something I can relate to. I agree about the noisy bitches though that's for damn sure.
Also it's funny how you mention one of the girls seemed to be on the lookout for someone that was after her. I used to know this guy that was a music freak. Although this guy did like Ozzy (one of the only good things I can say about him), he was a 'bootleg' maniac. I didn't know any of his friends, but they would all collect bootlegs from 'this certain concert in '84 etc.' The fact that he did this didn't bother me at all. Hell I'm all about music conversations, be it every now and then, but this guy was different. All this guy ever talked about was bootlegs.
On top of this, whenever there were people around, he would always whisper about it, as if he believed they were eavesdropping on the conversation, and would turn him in for it. Every once in a while he would raise his head and try to be non-chalant about looking around to see if anyone was listening to him that seemed suspicious, but it was always obvious that no one really gave a shit.
I just figured I'd tell you about this paranoid guy. Hmmm, that's a good song...

my god ... this is pretty much what i went through when i was in high school ... bitches yelling down the length of the hallway, putting on makeup on their locker mirrors, curling irons in the hallway on photo day ... argh ... a few times i've been tempted to 'accidentally' bump their locker doors, but that would result in them screaming their heads off with an eyeliner halfway in what's left of their brain. cell phones have just made things worse. they call each other from opposite ends of the hallway and talk loud enough for them to hear each other without the phones.
it doesn't help that i used to be in an all girls school. people doing each other's hair/makeup/nails in class, trying not to break their nails on school keyboards ... this is basically the norm to what i used to see. what pisses me off is that they can't drive for shit. kills me to see nine people cram into one little car ... while the driver's using her rearview mirror as a makeup mirror.
saw something i really wanted to do from the Anarchist's Cookbook (sp?) ... put a couple of rotten eggs in the a/c system ... maybe throw in a SARS patient or two ...
i think high school was when i became an introverted homicidal maniac ... apologies for the lack of capital letters and for the rambling.

i bet if i was to look back at every miserable moment in my life, i could probobly trace all the misery back to 2 noisy bitches...i can think of 3 instances right now that fit the description. (Bitches are not necesarily females in this case, but just bitches...)

haha....well loren...that didnt really make me feel better, it kind of made me want to end my life right there, but then i read it over and realized that 1. Im a mere couple weeks away from graduating (god willing) 2. im not going to college 3. i forgot what 3 is... 4. im gonna live in a shack in montana away from loud brazillans and everyone else for that matter, and i will be by myself with nothing more than a pile of straw for a bed and a typewriter with which to write my manifesto... and a refridgerator full of go-gurt and super pretzels.
Thanks for the ray of hope though...haha... DEAD END JOB...HERE I COME!

Don't worry, soon you'll be in High School, then it will get worse... after that's done, you'll go off to college, and it will be your roommate(s) AND the idiots in your classes making you miserable... you'll graduate, if you make it that far, and you'll rent an apartment... more asshole roommates, (if Grad School, repeat last steps over) until one day, YAYE, you get a place on your own... then, your upstairs and downstairs neighbors will be inconsiderate scumbags, and you'll have to break your lease and move again, paying more than you can afford in hopes of an uninterrupted night or two of sleep... and you'll wake several times a week to an irate and psychopathic landlord complaining that you didn't park your car close enough to the top of the driveway... then you'll land the job you dreamed of!... soon thereafter you'll realize that a couple of women in the break room are pointing and giggling and talking behind your back making you want to rip your own head off... then you'll get married, and have a new family of in-laws, that will hate you and talk bad about you and make your life miserable... you finally will move away, taking your little family and buying a nice home, settling into the white picket fence way of life until little Johnny and Jenny grow into teenagers and start badmouthing you and undermining you and making your life a living hell...

I used to hate that too. Then I learned to zone out for hours at a time and my life has been so much better. Just remember: Its only annoying if you let it annoy you.
