So yea, tonight, I was over at this girl's house who I'm kind of casually dating, and she only recently broke up with her boyfriend of a few years. This in itself is not a problem, casual dating is fun, I like her, not that deep down "soul entwining" love some people feel but she's cool to hang around with. Anyways, lately we've been getting together after I get off work and watching movies and other stuff (imagination, use it kids), but tonight, for some reason her limpdicked cockblock of an ex-boyfriend decides to turn the stalker knob up to full blast.
He had apparently been "really calm" and such lately, not seeming to have too much trouble with the breakup... cough, ok then. No trouble other than desperately needing to talk to her all the time, shit he called while she was out meeting me at work, then when we get back, and are all settling in; *knock knock knock* I look at her and raise one eyebrow, not knowing yet who it was. Anyways, she goes to the door, and talks to him for a bit, he pulls a hissy when he finds out I'm there and goes squealing off in his car. She comes back in, noticeably uncomfortable and we talk for a bit then throw the movie back in. Are you ready for it? ... ... suspense building ... The phone rings! Guess who it is. So she's talking to him for like two minutes before he starts blubbering, so she goes talks to him for like 10 minutes while I sit around watching the clock and figuring how long I should let it go before I just leave.
Good thing I didn't, she comes back down, we talk for a bit and then once again with the movie. Maybe 15-20 minutes later (I'm guessing this is about how long it takes to get from his house to hers) there's another knock at the door, this time I answer it... I say, "Look buddy, you're not helping yourself here, and you just need to chill." Keep in mind, I've probably got about a foot, 30lbs and training on this guy, so he's not about to start anything. He gives me some lame shit about how I don't know what he's going through etc... ...I don't know, excuse me, http://www.ubersite.com/m/60263 I think I do know. Anyways, I tell him off and say to go home and sleep it off. Then my friend comes up and she talks to him for a bit, he throws some ripped up picture at her (in the morning, he's gonna regret that) and then she kinda calms him down and talks to him for a bit... comes back in and I hang around for a while to make sure Stalks McGee doesn't come back.
I can totally empathize with the guy, cause it's a shtity deal, I've been there, but the last thing that will help his cause (be that what it may) is pathetically reaching out again and again. Let it go, maybe one day you can pick up the pieces and form some kind of friendship but the pieces need to settle before you can pick them up.
Anyways, I'm actually impressed how strong a cockblock a crying man is, I'd congratulate the guy, but I'm too pissed. So next I see him, I'm gonna have words, and if he keeps it up, I will no longer use words.

I liked this, and this line really does say it all doesn't it?

I like your style.
You gotta feel sorry for the guy. He obviously left his dignity in a taxi or something.

I think you should lay off this chick until she's gotten rid of this guy properly though. You need to be sympathetic if you've been in his shoes
