I believe in Free Will
I believe in love that lasts forever, but I don't believe that anyone should actively search for it
I believe that, if there is a deity or collection thereof out there somewhere, it/they are just as fucked up and afraid as we are
I believe that the experience of recieving a publicly funded education makes up for the poor quality of the education itself
I believe I am incredibly naive about love and God and life, and that it's ok for now
I believe in charity, but I don't believe I owe the bum on my street a dollar every time I walk by him
I believe that George Carlin is a genius, or at least has a lot more common sense than most people
I believe that the hugs I give are as important as the blood I give
I believe rewards and bribes are the same thing
I believe negative reinforcement is generally less effective than positive reinforcement
I believe that honesty is not always the best policy, but the truth is easier to remember
I believe that lust is overrated, but that won't stop me from doing it

I believe John Stewart is the fucking MAN! I wanted to get that off my chest, without writing an entire post to do so. The Daily Show is one of the very, very few programs worth watching on television. Of course I watch it ONLINE, rendering my 13-inch television obsolete. I believe television is a waste of time. I believe reading and writing is good for the soul. So is nature. I believe "What Should I Do With My Life?" (by Po Bronson) is the best book I have read in a long time.
