I don't think they could've done the hedge animal thing any real justice at that point in time, although that would've been awesome. I mean, they were using polystyrene flakes when it was snowing, and salt on the ground for filming.

Did it have typo's in the film? Hmm, I'll look into that. It might be easier to do it without typo's on pc now than it would be with them, but a typewriter doesn't have a copy/paste function. Oh well, another reason why this deserves its death.

on the contrary. I never liked the end of The Shining movie, they fucked the book all up.
I think it would've rocked to show Halloran getting eaten by the hedege lions, and Jack getting blown up instead of freezing to death.

I loved The Shining. I appreciated the thought process behind it. I thought that it had some really shitty acting in it on Shelley Duvall's part, and I also thought that the book was better (although the labyrinth was cool, I thought the hedge animal idea was good). The camera shots were awesome, and for the most part, the acting was top notch.
