There's a guy I work with who came to us from somewhere in Canada. [Note to all you Canadians out there, you might want to take him back, you really don't want him representing your country... of course, you also sent us Bryan Adams, so I guess he can't make things any worse]. Honestly, he must have come from the northeastern buthole of Canada. This guy apparently has lived in a society-free vacuum for the past 3 decades or more, and only finally has been thrown back into civilization. Either that or he's just a moron.
Today, one of the other techs in my office, we'll call him Zeke, was talking to Canada trying to glean from him some semblance of understanding of what a customer's problem was. Apparently Canada worked with this customer yesterday, but now he/she is calling back becuase the problem was not yet resolved (not a big surprise if Canada worked the call). So Zeke is trying to dig through the permafrost of Canada's brain to understand what he did and why. Meanwhile, another tech, we'll call him Gary, was working on fixing a problem with his dilapidated office-chair (our equipment here dates back to somewhere in the pre-paleolithic era). Knowing Zeke has a leatherman tool, he comes up to Zeke, who's still talking with Canada, and says, "hey, can I borrow your Prince Albert Removal Tool?" Zeke, Gary, and I all have a good laugh (I'm in the cubicle right across from Canada, widely considered the single worst cubicle in the office) as Zeke hands over the leatherman tool. Canada has a very puzzled look on his face (of course, this isn't at all uncommon for him).
Now Zeke has his information and he returns to his cubicle, as has Gary. I'm on a call at this time. Canada sends me an instant message (he's literally 10 feet away and has a direct line of sight to me, but always feels the need to IM me) and asks me what Gary meant by "Prince Albert Removal Tool." This was NOT a conversation I wanted to have. I had no desire to explain to nanook what a prince albert is, and then further explain why the comment was so funny.
Luckilly, I was on a call. A few moments later Canada says "oh, wait, I get it... that pocket knife thingy of Zeke's... you can use a knife to remove prince albert... as in assasinating him! ha ha ha ha!"
I just don't have the heart to break it to him (nor the desire to have that conversation, as I stated before), that it has nothing to do with Queen Victoria's husband.
