Once again for those of you not part of the elite few who know my current profession, I am a fright transportation and distribution technition. By traveling around the country, I ensure freight gets to its appointed place in a safe and timely manner.
So as I travel, I find myself constantly hitting the search button on the ol' stereo head unit (I haven't invested in sattellite radio yet) and I'd like to know from all you fine and not so fine folks out there, what are the good radio stations?
And by "good" I mean the Heavy Metal stations, the classic rock stations, the rock and roll stations.
What are the good morning shows that'll have me busting a gut in morning rush hour? Mark & Brian, Bob & Tom, Lewis & Floorwax, all the greats (to Hell with Howard Stern, how many times is that guy gonna hit the snooze bar on his fifteen minutes of fame?)
What city are these stations in? How far out of town can I pick them up?
So rock on, always help with the dishes, be kind to animals and slow traffic please stay to the right........

What a putz. Half the fun of travelling is FINDING new stations.
So hit the stupid Scan button. If you don't have one, then you really suck.

And for the dear sweet Rockin' Sex Goddess and the one known as Hidden...
Since I suggested that because I will frequently go to NC and SA that we should hook up, so naturally I haven't been to either place.
I'll make it there eventually, sheesta!

Yupper-doodle, I cruise around scarring the crap outta people. 18 wheels of mayhem.
Especially these idiots where I am now in the state of Oregon. What the HELL is wrong with these people?!? Must be the lack of sunshine and continuous, constant and never ending rain.
It's said that Colorado has over 300 days of sunshine a year (I guess that's why we are so cool and are the most physically fit state), the Pacific Northwest must get on the remaining 65 days of year.
Mark, we could shoot for (and in) June, I should be (-finally- after three years) getting my boom sticks back. We'll throw some lead down range.

This post sucks balls, but at least, as a long time veteran of the radio wars, I can lead you in the right direction.
Look for the "Lex & Terry" show in the am...They're out of Jacksonville, FLA, syndicated in at least 20 markets so it depends where the fuck you're at as to whether or not you can listen in.

I think there is a search engine so you can find all of your desired Country & Western Stations! Don't pretend you are listening to rock!
When are we going to have Rocky Mountain Ubercon again?

SATTELITE RADIO DAMNIT. You won't regret it. I subscribe to Sirius, and I thank myself every day by means of self gratification.

Morning talk radio makes me want to hurt myself. Even my favorite station, 99X (alt rock out of Atlanta), has a terrible morning show.

I'd love to throw out some suggestions, but I'm guessing you're talking about the states, and unfortunately (read that as fortunately- my preference) for me, I don't live there.
