As promised, I took on the task of drawing a face. I used the same medium as last time, paper with mechanical pencil. I did manage to get a hold of a heavy art pencil for the hair though. This is my first time drawing a face, but if you knew her you'd recognize her. The original is on the bottom right, everything else is altered with the PC just for shits and giggles. At the bottom I have the eyes, which I believe are her best feature and turned out the best on paper. In real life they are very light blue, maybe I'll post a photo of her later (I'll ask, but I doubt it). I am working on another piece now, this time a nude sitting on a chair.

+2 because there isnt enough attempts at real art on this site.
on the other hand, it could use some work, the lips are kinda freaky. dont outline everything so much.

Adam, I know what you mean man. I've still got a lot to figure out about the shading of things like cheeks, but my next one will be better. This was kind of an experiment. But, I'm back to drawing the human form for now.

Not too shabby
You need to highlight some more of the facial structures, especailly the cheeks

A mechanical pencil is the kind that has the little sticks of lead in it, you click it for more lead to come out. I find it less of a hassle than having to sharpen the pencil every 3 minutes.
