...and then? You get nothing. I closed my business. Listed my condo for sale. Gave away my pet (she was too big for this apartment - a Great Pyr). Worked my ass off for 7 months, dealing with incompetent peeps everyday, changing effed up process flows, procedures. No manuals.
- oh, what the fuck, right? ....we've all heard this shit before. Screw it, right?
The mortgage business is a bunch of idiots. Shoulda learned corn shucking better.
At least that has a reward for effort.

OK, enough beers tonight. I had my own business for 2 years, and enjoyed my own successes. I was presented a "great position" with a struggling mortgage company. Growing weary of my mortgage origination business, I made the decision to close shop, move north, and get back into the "corporate world". Big mistake. I should have known something was amiss, since I couldn't get any offers on my condo (bad karma), the new apartment mgmt wouldn't accept my dog (too big-more bad karma). So I has to tap into all of my investments to keep both homesteads viable and current.
Then, after teaching the President about his financials this March, he learned that he couldn't afford me (<insert: irony>). The division had not made money all year, and although I generated over 30K in two months, it still was not an offset!!
No one here on this board knows who I am; just found this to be a great place to read, and now vent.
My apologies, but towards no one else can I regurgitate my frustrations.
