Too bad Bush doesn't own stock in Vegetable oil, huh?
I'm not a mechanic, and am not claiming to be, but this seems to be a pretty easy conversion. Fuel pumps and fuel filters are pretty easy to change. Even if you use diodiesel to start/stop your car, you should be getting astronomical gas mileage. And if more research is done on the automotive end of this, I'm sure most, if not all, of the bugs could be worked out.
But since my truck is petro, not diesel, I'll continue to pay through the nose, pollute the environment, support terrorists and start unnecessary wars in the middle east.

I used to have this hippie douchebag neighbor named Kevin who drove a Volvo that ran on Biodiesel.
He hated me. I think it's because I drove a 3 ton GMC Yukon at the time, and it only got about 12 miles to the gallon.
That, or he overheard me calling him a hippie douchebag.

Do you know where the vast majority of the wealth in the world is?
OIL, all of the stock holders for all of the car companies and engine manufacturers are oil companies or rich old oil tycoons from Texas. So if car companies start using another form of fuel BAM, there goes all of their shareholders.
PLUS, you are a retard for believing everything you read

wow. fucking media. this is what sucks about a non-free media, people dont get ereal facts.
a.) the "$5 addon that gets 250 mpg" doesnt exist, there is a form of a carburator that will get you maybe 25 more if youre lucky. the oil companies bought the patent.
b.) the reason a 250 mpg addon is impossible is because there is so much inefficiency in the internal combustion engine. ever rested you hand on a v8 engine block? thats right. because its HOT. heat is escaped and wasted energy.
c.) biogas and shit is fine if you use it in one car, but there is simply not enough biological matter to eat and power all these peoples cars. vegetable oil would be fine in a few test cars, but if we were to tke what would be needed to power the automotive force in america, there would be no vegetables to eat
think before you talk dumbasss, and there are plenty more reasons thani have given you. before you accept ONE websites veiw as true, go look up the opposing argument

You are a fucking idiot and since you're such a fucking idiot, I will not even waste my time explaining all the engineering and economic reasons why this engine is not in full scale production. Technology takes time moron.

There's a five dollar add-on part for cars that allows them to get 250 mpg. The government keeps it a secret though.
