Each year when spring rolls around life begins anew. Flowers bloom and animals give birth to their frail, fuzzy offspring. The blues of winter dissipate from most as they thaw from the yearly cold. Yet she sits in the confines of her life wondering why spring gets her down. Why does she embrace the quiet stillness of the cold winter?
Is she the only one who suffers from spring blues?
Could it be the warmth of a winter fire that she will miss? Or is it the realization that she will not feel the soothing heat of a candlelight bubble bath for many months. Perhaps she will miss the welcoming embrace of her favorite woven blanket. Maybe it's the warm cocoa that she sips while spending quality time cuddling her pets. Everyone is more likely to lovingly cuddle in the cold of winter. Many months will go by before she can quietly stroll through the neighborhood and see brilliantly colored Christmas lights contrasting the delicate purity of new fallen white snow.
She thinks about how beautiful her home looks when the leaves have begun to turn in the crisp autumn. She reminisces about the beautiful golden colors that will flood the horizon if she can just hang on.
She thinks of these things as she stews in the hot air. She remembers a time from her youth when the winter snow was plentiful and springs mornings were chilly. Spring flowers bloomed for what seemed like forever. They wilt so quickly lately; it seems that every year life fades from the blooms somewhat faster then the year before. It seems to her that the temperate climate fades away a little more every year. Maybe she's just getting older and time is playing tricks on her mind. Mortality has a way of doing so.
Her heart sinks as she thinks about the future, her future and that of her friends and loved ones. She wonders if she will ever shake the spring blues. Perhaps it is a sign of maturity, or lack there of that causes her to worry ever so slightly, and every so often, if the winter that had just past, may perhaps, be her last.

Still waiting on paperwork. The only thing I've received is a hospital bill for $384 for doing the bloodwork.
I figure it should be okay though because I asked my lawyer if I should go out and get a prision haircut and he laughed at me.
