Greetings all. It's been a while since I have been around due to my increasing importance in my career. I am only here to inform you about the latest happenings here in Chicago. We are known for some things, wind, traffic and unpredictable weather. It has gone from 75 degrees on Saturday to 40 degrees right now. I complain about our weather all year round yet I have remained here for my 25.6 years. Anyhow, that's not what I wanted to talk about. I have come here to discuss the Virgin Mary. Yes, her image has appeared in an underpass that I go through everyday to cart my ass back and fourth from work. While I respect everyone's beliefs and try not to debate religion with people this issue has gotten out of hand.
The traffic that the image has caused is horrible. There are no less than 3 squad cars there at a time, traffic horses up to barricade the "image" and people are dashing back in fourth thru traffic NOT using the crosswalk. I have now almost taken the life of 5 people in front of the image of the Virgin Mary because they decided to not use the crosswalk and follow the little white silhouette of a person notifying you that it is safe to cross.
There are also news teams there 24 hours a day monitoring and interviewing different people about the image. This evening aside from the normal antennae's that are on news vans, there are 2 enormous satellites on the side of the inbound ramp.
People are more than welcome to do what ever they like that brings them closer to there spirituality but I am tired of others interest affecting my commute time. I am already suffering enough living in yuppie-ville and commuting to work, I don't need to run over a moron on the way.

If you're 25.6 years old, please promise me that you'll NEVER reproduce- in fact, don't even have sex, because we do not need anyone missing as many chromosomes as you seem to be, infecting the gene pool.

I think people shouldn't waste time on religion and just plan ahead for Christmas- a SECULAR Christmas!
