Help Finding Book W/ Wedgie Pic (993 hits)

There's A book I read a few years ago that I'm trying to get my hands on. It was a sci-fi book and it waas kind of a collection of these short stories, all I remember in that one of them man had gone to Venus, started something they couldn't win, came back, brought the Venus fleet with them, earth loses, humans flee underground with varying passages.
2 characters I believe try to make their way to surface 100's of years later, near end is this one "town" where there are all these fat people being breed for the Venus people's lunch. If anyone knows this books title please tell me thanks.
