Perhaps it's best not explained as more or less mature. It's kind of like a different maturity.
Asian girls (proper asian girls, not ABC's) are much more like the western woman of the 1950's. The asian woman is smart and well-mannered, but has a worse understanding of the "politics of life", i suppose.
About half my girl friends are asians, half whites. You can not have an open conversation about sex with an eastern girl, like you can with a western. However, in many aspects the western girl is less responsible for herself and less likely to care "what others think of her", a rather childish trait.
