When guys feel the need to compliment me on looks, I'm always "cute." Well what's cute mean?
Does it mean I'm actually cute? Or is it just another way of saying "You've got the sweetest little personality. I'll talk with you and flirt with you, but God..if my friends ever found out...SEE YA!" I'm not bad looking in my opinion, but I can be wrong, it's happened before. Maybe this is just my self-concious getting to me, not letting me accept a compliment at pure, face value. I have

You know what's really funny? Everyone always says "POST YOUR PIC!!!!" but then, when someone DOES post a pic, everyone is like "OMG you are SO dumb and ugly, bitchfuckcocksucker.. why did you post this? I hate you, die."
That makes me confused, and then I feel really bad for said picture poster...

Here that +2 should shut..... I mean cheer you up. I just saw your picture recently on here, and you are cute. Cute is a way for a guy to tell a girl that she is good looking without sounding too up front. Or It could just be a nice way of saying no thanks, you kinda have to find out on your own, if you dont think that you are bad looking then its probably my first opinion, but if you think you are ugly then i gurantee its the second.

1. "You are nice" - I think you're nice
2. Anything else - I'd like to sleep with you
Comment #1 usually also implies that the guy *will* sleep with you, he just won't tell his friends if he does.

I have to disagree with these "sweet" comments. Girls always call me sweet and I end up hooking up with them. As for the "cute" thing, I hate it too. I mean, dogs are called cute. And I doubt any girl who has called me cute finds dogs sexually attractive. Well, most of them anyways...

You know what else bites? When a girl says that you're 'sweet.' Nothing good ever follows the phrase 'you're so sweet..' There's always a 'but' or something similarly bad that follows.
E.g. 'You're so sweet, but I have a boyfriend' or other assorted riders.

I think you can take cute a couple of different ways. If someone knows you and calls you cute, it probably has more to do with your personality. If someone doesn't know you well and calls you cute, I would kick them in the head. When you think of cute, you think of puppies and the like. Nothing is more irritating than a guy calling you cute; it always makes you feel like a kid.
