This arguing and bickering back and forth has got to stop. I'm an American, and I'm damn proud to be one. Billy Bob over there is a Canadian and he's proud of it. Mary Sue standing next to him is British. So be it. My point:
Why is there all this fighting? I've seen it for years on the net, a constant bickering between Americans, Canadians and the British. It all amounts to basically nothing. The British call Americans illiterate, the Americans call the Canadians lumberjacks, and on it goes. But there really is no point to it. I know some ignorant as fuck Americans. I know Americans that would make your blood curl from just listening to them open up their mouths. But then, I can say the same for the Canadians. I know some stupid as shit Canadians. But I don't generalize. It's almost as if one bad experience with someone from another country sets your mood towards everyone in it.
Everyone is different, and what country you grow up in has little, if any, role in what kind of person you will one day become. Canadians don't have a large military. Americans aren't famous for their slim bodies, and the British... well, you have funky teeth. But I don't see where all this animosity comes from. Please, someone, anyone, enlighten me. Because it just doesn't make any sense. It's like scaled down racism.

HOLY CRAP! Here this guy is trying to shed light on the fact that no country is better than the other and we turn it into a big war about what country is better! Canada has some wicked cool sports, so does America! Who gives a load of crap? These are the reasons why there is no world peace!(w00t for hippies!) I mean, if we could just suck up our bloody pride and say that we are equal then we'll be alot happier. Well...you see, I think that one country started to bad mouth the other, then they fought back, and now it is a war. I have to agree with you, I am Canadian and proud to be one. I know some dumb Canadians that generalize, and I know dumb Americans that generalize; as well as smart ones. I just think that the TV just can't keep the most ignorant and arrogant (sp?) of us off of the TV.

What is this about Canada having better sports. I was happilly reading the tread and then i come along Random joe bashing american sports and i got pissed. This is unacceptable. What better sports? the mutant form of football you play that has a longer field(I mean american football if theres any confusion). Ya the Canadians got real creative with that one, take a sport that Americans inventived and make the field longer real creative. I'll admit the hockey may be better but in the word of robins williams "It's your only fucking sport" you should be good at it. Im sorry i just cant understand how u actually believe canada has better sports.
On a completely different note i dont understand how canada saved the US during world wars I and II. My history must be bad because i remeber canada having vary little to do with either conflict.

America is the worst country in the world, It's a peice of crap and america is the reason for all the problems in the world. Hey, I am canadian and I'm Damn proud!!!!!! Canada is the most peaceful, threatless nation in the world. It's alot better than america. I dont hate america. But sometimes I think the reason for all the worlds problems is caused by them. Canada is more of a Assertive country. We have ways of sorting things out. Because there are 32 million Canadians, a few hundred million Americans, and yet you see 10 anti American comments by Canadians to every 1 anti Canadian comment by Americans! Think about it people! They're so rude that only 32 million of them, can fill the entire internet with anti American and anti Bush junk! California alone has more people in it then the entire country of Canada! That would be like Californian comments outnumbering everyone else in America 10 to 1. I _know_ what you're saying, but it's hard to follow through with, y'know? I worked in a museum as a tour guide. Nova Scotia is a ferry ride away from Boston, yet when people came across the ferry and waltzed into the museum, more than a few Americans were impressed we spoke English and had electricity, and were confused when they paid their admission in American funds and I gave them change in Canadian.. It's very hard for me to forget that, and I'm fairly bitter about it. Why wouldn't I speak English? Why the fuck wouldn't we have electricity? Canada isn't a third world country, It's G7(8?). You're right, I shouldn't let a few bad experiences make me be so bitter, but it's what stuck with me, it's hard to shake off.
