Normally, dealing with people like you gives me this feeling of burning hatred that just confirms the existence of the Dark Side. But I think I will resist temptation, and instead of finding you and having you tried for treason, I'm going to start with a point-counterpoint of everything you said.

Then I going to lambast you like the Fascist that you are.

Alright, first we're going to start out with the banter typical of the recent Republican National Convention. That basically means touting 9/11 and safety into everything you say, until the people who look up to you are so scared for their own lives that they find they cannot live without you.
Start off with a report that was on Condeleza Rice's desk before the attacks. The vague and cryptic title of this report was something like "Al Queda Plans to Attack the U.S." It's perfectly understandable for her to not see merit in this. After all, this doesn't tell us anything. It's only proof positive that the information was there and we didn't know how to put it together.
That would require something called "investigating," which FBI agents apparently don't do anymore.
I'll give you a point on this fact: the information was there. In fact, there was more than we needed, and it was there for a long time.
FBI agents called it in. Flight Instructors and airline attendents called it in. Nothing happened. This is because the agency itself was flawed and fragmented, not because the investigators didn't have the appropriate information. A gigantic bungled database that tracked every American would not have helped the situation. The American Government already has a huge wealth of information on every American and even a very, very large number of foreign nationals. More of the same would not have improved the situation any.

I think we all feel for the parents of that girl in Florida, but a National ID would not have saved their child. If this guy was wanted and people were looking for him, carrying a piece of plastic would not have helped anybody. Where the authorities supposed to "track harder" because they had a card that would tell them where he was. As oppossed to his driver's liscence and social security information, along with bank and debit cards, and credit cards. If he evaded the police for that long, we need to take a long skeptical look at the police, and not the people they're protecting.
(With all due respect, I know that that last statement was unfair. The police undoubtably worked their tails off to find this guy, and I know these officers take this kind of thing to heart. This was NOT their fault.)

Illegal Aliens huh? Sorry, thought this was the land of the free. You know, I sure you heard these lines before, "Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door."
Never heard that one. Sorry, I was under the impression you were a red-blooded American. But that's okay, I can work with Communism. After all, the principal of letting people enter this country to redeem themselves is out-dated. Who cares what the Founding Fathers thought, they're dead.
The aliens are not a problem. Don't even start on that, it makes you look ignorant.

I know you've never broken the law. Really, I'm proud of your boring ass. But I revert to something that Samuel Clemens once said, (and this is where I start venting on you, you Godless, basterd) "Those who are willing to give up a portion of their freedom for their safety, do not deserve to be free at all."

You don't. The ideas that your advancing today caused a revolution 229 years ago. I think you'd find that you'd fit in in Nazi Germany. Or perhaps Communist Russia. After all, there were places in the world where you needed to have papers to go anywhere so the Central Government could track your every move. You fail to realize that good men and women, American and European alike, Died so that we would be free of this kind of overbearing control. And here I see that you are so willing to put up with it. Succomb to it. You're ready to welcome it with open arms because you're scared. I see you and those like you. Ready to give up all of the freedoms that the Founding Fathers cried were ENDOWED BY THE CREATOR. THEY ARE SACRED.

But you would give them up. Willingly and freely would you dispense of one more little freedom, so that the government could grasp that much more control over your life. I pity you.

I believe it's the History Books that will come to hate you.

Well spoken?

Out of everything that this post is, well spoken is not one of them.

finding you and having you tried for treason

News flash: Jack never betrayed the US. I almost feel bad making fun of you because you apparently have severe Downs syndrome.

When one talks about politics, one must speak clearly and make some fucking sense. You, I'm afraid, do not; this read like a lobotomy patient beating a keyboard with a dead cat. I ordinarily don't protest peoples' political views, because, after all, this is America, where we can say what we want, be we Republican, Democrat or Communist, but yours are tantamount to a newborn's - you don't know anything.

Please drown yourself in a toilet and end the awkwardness for us all.

Only in this country, only in a country THIS great, does the act of trying to control who gets in become regarded as fascist. Not OUT, IN.

what a way to look at it.

This was so horrible, so absolutely ill-reasoned, that I don't think I could have come up with something worse if I really put forth the effort to try.

The inscription on the statue of liberty is not a LAW, MoneyG. It's poetry, prose. It carries no weight one way or another, and it certainly doesn't carry any weight with respect to people whose very first act in entering this country violates the law. Only in this country, only in a country THIS great, does the act of trying to control who gets in become regarded as fascist. Not OUT, IN.

There are quite a few other points I could make, but why bother?

I don't understand how you could read an inflammatory, unreasonable, terribly-argued post written by, of all the turd-brained schmucks around, Jack McCallum, and come up with this as your best counterargument.

We still have immigration, silly. We take people in. We always have, always will.

They just need to do it in compliance with the laws of the country.

This argument is shit.

And what are you trying to say with the whole communism thing? Thats just sensationalistic and unfounded. And the "no immigration" thing? Noone is saying that. We just want people complying with our laws.

In conclusion, this is sensationalistic garbage. You could have had a good argument against national ID cards, but you screwed that up.

+1 for taking a "gov'ment leave me the fuck alone" position. Too bad you probably don't feel the same way about taxes.

-2 for the shitty way you presented this.

You understand that you lost any credibility you had after:

"Normally, dealing with people like you gives me this feeling of burning hatred that just confirms the existence of the Dark Side. But I think I will resist temptation, and instead of finding you and having you tried for treason, I'm going to start with a point-counterpoint of everything you said.

Preaching to your own section of the choir does not a good song make.
