I gave this film a -2 for sucking...
...and that makes me hungry like a wolf!

dude, I totally have not ever seen that movie. But I know it sucks. Like Hell I'm gonna spend money or time or whatnot to watch it. What a piece of garbage.

I finally saw it last night. It was ok but it made me immediately want to come home and read the book fot the parts left out. Nice visualzation, bad sticking to the book and at least trying to cover all that makes it great.

Not sure I want to see the movie though I probably will out of interest. Read Hitchhikers, then Reataurant At the End of the Universe and all the following ones - and the set of books are far better anyay.
The original tv show gave Zaphod a stupid plastic head (imagination far better when reading) and as far as I can see the new movie - although I imagine with better special effects - have just got it wrong. For a start - Ford Prefect was not a black guy. What? Are they just trying to be politically correct now?
