It's a Sunday. A bad one at that. I'm tired and hurt. Scared and guilty. I've been taken advatage of...and yet I still feel as though i'm the one that took the advantage and ran. Why should I feel guilty when he's the one that hurt me? Why should I feel guilty that he thought that paying me to be a bartender meant he could pay me to be his whore?

It was late and we'd all been drinking. Shots on the house for the birthday boys at the corner of the bar. Beers on the house for both of the bartenders. "P. is the best boss ever" I remember myself thinking. Funny how thoughts and opinions can change so suddenly.

I don't want to report this...don't want to ruin his business and reputation just because he felt like he could grab me...shove his tongue down my throat...and make me feel like a cheap dirty whore. Then, call me a towncar home...and call it attraction. Didn't he notice when I tried to pull away? Didn't he notice that I was shaking as I smoked that last cigarette?

Why is it that when I tell women about this, they tell me that I have every right to freak out? Why is it that men tell me that "Had you have been attracted to him this would have been a different situation."
When did moving 20 hours away from home, having two jobs to support the move, and being stupid enough to believe that i've got what it takes to make it...mean that you've got to give every little piece of your self...your heart, dignity, and body...to make it all really happen?

I would just lay it all out on the table and tell him that what he did was wrong and that you didn't appreciate his probing tongue. If he was drunk and didn't read your signs correctly than he will apologize and you both should be able to move on and keep on working together...
However, if he reacts really defensively and berates you then he probably knew what he was doing all along. Therefore making your working enviroment too hostile to work in.
The place where I work is an all male enviroment and I have had a situation or two like that transpire after a long night drinking with the boys. Mostly, I would say that they really didn't mean to violate me, they just read my signals wrong!!
If you need the job approach the subject maturely!!

By the way...J4...I didn't respond because I didn't check this post until today. I was more pissed at you for being a quick judge of the situation than anything else. You immediately came to the assumption that I couldn't take a kiss...but truth be told, it was something that I had a choice in. It had nothing to do with attraction or feelings it had to do with the fact that I didn't have any choice in the matter. I'm not a prude or a slut but I like to have a say in what's happening to my body at any given time.
Besides...I didn't want him to think that his money bought more than good customer service. It's hurtful to feel taken advantage of like that.
To everyone who commented on the grammar and punctuation...right...I know. Chalk it up to never paying that much attention to what I'm typing. I don't use spell check and normally pay for it later...

It's hard to say whether that guy was in the wrong, as I wasn't there and didn't see it all go down. If he was flirting with you, and you were flirting back, then he kisses you and you flip out .. . then he's nice enough to get you a ride home ... well doesn't sound like he's all that bad of a guy to me. Of course, if he was drunk and trying to have his way with you despite your obvious disinterest in him, that's a different story. However, since you're in the food service industry and working for tips (even if you weren't working for tips at the time, it kind of becomes second nature to flirt while you pour drinks), I know that flirting becomes a big part of how you get paid. I see it everyday from the chicks I work with. Whether that's your style or not, I don't know. Like I said earlier, I would have had to have seen how it all went down. But usually an asshole wouldn't get you a ride home, he would tell you to walk. The -1 is for how this was written, not the content since I don't have enough details to judge.
