Here are 6 songs that I fnished up over the weekend. You can consider it a free EP. (I'm so generous!)

NIGHT LIGHT (A LULLABY)

This song was written after my recent trip. It's just a simple little lullaby I wrote for [name omitted]. I was playing around with my roommate's 12-string and it just sorta came out. I spent all day Sunday fucking around with it. It was nice to get back in the studio and actually get something done for a change. It had kinda been a while.
5000 MILES

This song is based on a trip I took with my ex-girlfriend to the South Dakota Badlands. I wrote it right after we broke up, I think in November of 2003. I was recorded in early 2004, but it hadn't been mixed or anything until this weekend. NERVOUS BREAKDOWN

This was another one I wrote after my ex-girlfriend and I broke up. This was a bit of a change for me because it has a really jazzy feel. Musically, this is one of the songs I'm most proud of because I was able to make use of a lot of chords and textures I don't generally experiment with. It perfectly reflects the sort of aplomb mood I was in at the time.
SPANISH BLOODBATH

This is a song I wrote for someone I love very much. It's really just a simple song with a simple melody. Very Bob Dylanesque. It was recorded in about 20 minutes on, I think, the second take. The title might not make much sense to you, but that's your problem, not mine. ;)

I just recorded this on a whim... Well, actually there was a reason behind it I won't get into. This was one of the first songs I ever learned that introduced me to the fingerpicking style of folk music. This is, in my opinion, one of the best love songs ever written. Paul Simon is the man.
THE ELECTRIC TOOTH SYNDROME

This song is my namesake song. The lyrics were inspired by, you guessed it, an acid trip. My friend Scott wrote the main chord progression and we just kinda took it from there. I've posted this one before, but it was in unfinished form. It's still not perfect, but I tend to like the imperfections, they give it charm, I think.

How come when some other asshole links to their site, they're blasted, yet you do it and it's ok?

The only reason I link to my site is because you can't post files on this site bigger than a megabyte. A better question would be: Why are they blasted for it? Why should I be? How else are you supposed to post under the music category if you don't link to an outside site for hosting unless you're making 1 minute songs? It's not as if I'm trying to sell you something.
As for 'growing a pair', it doesn't matter what I do or say anymore. You all think what you think and there isn't a whole lot I can do to change that. I apologised for posting this because what else am I supposed to do? What more would you have me do? If I combat you, you'll call me a whiny bitch. If I say nothing you'll call me a pussy. I can't very well delete the post at this point. I can't turn back time and NOT post it, so I did the only thing I could do, I apologised for corrupting your precious site with its presence.

i downloaded only your namesake song. i really like it. the twangy guitars and sliding voice remind me of Built To Spill. and the lyrics are pretty cool, albeit a bit random. nice work. any others to recommend?
