I haven't been sleeping so well recently, and when I do, I'v been dreaming that I'm a Jedi Fighting off
hords of zombies with no Force Power to aid me, and they aint the nice ones that walk really slow and
just moan at you, they are the nasty fuckers that can run after you and the faster you try to run the
slower you go and before you know it, your surrounded by them.
So anyway, I found that sleeping with some music playing helps me get to the land of nod quiet quickly.
I wear headphones in bed (the big earmuff style ones) because my speakers are so badass that even
on '1' people in the other room can hear them.
So, there I am, laying in bed, Iron Maiden cranked up (yeah, I know, but it does work) and I'm dozing off.
Sweet success, I'm asleep.
During my slumber I some how managed to wriggle the headphones off and get them caught around my neck,
then I guess I must have rolled over because all of a sudden the only thing I (and anyone within a 5mile radius) could hear
was the solo to Run To The Hills (kickass song if their ever was one).
With that I dived out of bed to shut it off, but before I could get to the stereo I stumped my toe on the bed corner and
that was it.
I was going down.
Fast.
I was heading for the floor then I felt something tug, it was the cable to my headphones, shit -
that was still wrapped around my neck, shit shit, as the cable tugged, I started to fall in to a different direction...
SMACK
I hit the corner of the bed side table/desk thing with the lamp and clock n what not, what what?
The next thing I remember was waking up in hospital with a really big headake, an even bigger lump on my head,
a broken toe and a broken arm.
I wish I had a pic of the lump, it was really quiet impressive.
Cant wait to see Maiden at Reading Festival...

+2 for 'Run to the Hills' one of the greatest hard rock songs of all time. Saw Maiden in St. Louis after the release of 'Powerslave.' One of the greatest shows I've ever been to.

I've seen Maiden twice.
First time was at Earls Court when they were supported by Slayer, which was awesome.
Second time was at Brixton Acadamy (the greatest venue ever) when they were supported by some cock-cheese playing rock songs on his record player, which was dog shit.
It was a huge embarrassment for all present when they started pretending to fight off a giant wicker man with their guitars though...
