Wow.... Now that was clever. I would have cropped better on my post but I was drunk. I tend to to paste the layer over the top of the original and then delete the parts of the layer that I don't want and then use the burn tool right at the edges of both layers before merging them down, I don't like to use the crop tool if I can help it. I find the extract option useful sometimes too.
I was pleased to see your review after what I'd seen you do in the last competitions... I'd been burning for a go since but only recently got internet access at home and work doesn't have photoshop.

Technically, it's fine but from a creative standpoint, all I can muster up is a "meh".
The original picture sucked donkey balls, which, in essence, is the cause of all of these rather mundane photoshop efforts.
