I am leaving. I am going away where no one will ever find, perhaps not even myself. I have come to despise my life and everything about it. I dread waking up because I know that the day will be the same as the last. I hate going to bed knowing that tomorrow is another day in my dreary life. I want to float away and have no worries, no mortgage, no bills, no responsibilities, no nothing. I want to let my mind wander away to things that are pleasant and no longer a burden on my soul. Away from everything as I know it. Wait! Maybe I could go to OZ. Yes, I'm talking about the land of OZ, the wizard, the scarecrow, the tinman, the witches, and the little people. Is that what they like to be called, little people, or midgets? Whatever. Off I shall go, following the yellow brick road. Will my destination be the wizard or a witch? It doesn't matter as long as I'm far away from myself.
