Okay so here's the deal, if you really want to know.
I'm going through a divorce right now, had to move back home, and this all pretty much sucked up every penny I had (not that I had much to speak of in the first place). At the time I posted this, I had a waitressing job at a local resteraunt, but, getting back on one's feet, so to speak, is not the easiest or the cheapest thing to do. Making things more difficult is the fact that said local resteraunt does not have enough hours to go around, and I was the most recent hire so guess who got the axe? I'm looking, but, I live in a small town that mainly centers around the elderly people who want to spend the colder months in a warm climate, and it's June, so the town is pretty dead.
As to why I'm into going, well. I don't need to go, per se. I'm stressed out right now. A lot of people that I like are going, and some of them put a great deal of time into talking me into it. I thought it would be really nice to get away from everything for a few days and just relax with a group of really cool people. I posted this for fun, I never dreamed that I'd get the response that I did. But the fact that I did makes me love this place - and want to spend time with the people who frequent it - even more than I did to start with.
