No, I just dislike the cadets (and for that matter midshipmen), because they're college students who are playing army and think we REAL military people have to show them respect. Fuck that noise. I'll kick a cadet in his face!

You have no idea, Caul. That thing is hot as hell, itchy, visibly cuts into my neck, is so tight on the arms I can't salute, and they make us wear it in the summer. They need to get with the times and make it out of that mesh they make basketball jerseys from. I never thought it was possible to sweat through thick wool, but I proved myself wrong. But I'll never wear that thing again. I went to a dance down at Princeton and all these rich snobby guys were saying "Muuuuah...what is that, a civil war uniform? Gufaw gufaw." It's actually older.
