Yaay, I'm going on vacation to where my Uber bretheren and sisteren have been only months before me. I feel like Paul from Cheers, who always arrived just after everything had gone down, but he did nail Carla so there is some hope here.
I will be there from June 20th-26th. Maybe you group of lovlies can help me out.
My questions are as follows:
What specific places should I visit? I'm really into oberving and taking pictures of the pretty whatnot.
What activities or shows should I partake in? I'll probably go see "We Will Rock You" but I have no idea of what else.
What places should I avoid?
Any Uberites live in the Vegas area? Come on out and I'll buy a few rounds.

I second the motion to see the Hoover Dam and also the Grand Canyon. I don't know anything about the Vegas casinos. In any case, have a great time :-)

For the record, the Fremont has the best buffet in town, for lunch and breakfast, at least.

The fountains at the Bellagio are fantastic. Ten stories high and coordinated with any one of over a dozen songs. I think it runs every half-hour (although I might be mistaken) and at night, the water jets are lit up. It's certainly something to see.

To party - Studio 51 at MGM, The bar at the top of the Rio, Whatever that new hotel is with the Rain bar, Freemont street and the beer is much cheaper this end of the strip.
To eat - breakfast Tropicana buffet teh best, for lunch the Buffet at The Golden Nugget, For dinner the buffet at Bellagio
Sites that are a must - The Venetian, Paris, The Middle eastern themed hotel, The Water show in front of the Bellagio, The animation ceiling on Freemont Street.
Tatoos - Raven Tatoos up on the strip closer to the Freemont end.
there is more but I have a bad memory.

I went last summer. The hoover Dam is cool (well...hot) for a day trip, and the Grand Canyon if you have time. Make sure you go in all the different casinos- MGM Grand, New York New York, Luxor, Excallibur etc. be sure to drink free drinks at the casinos!
