He leaned way back in his metal chair to catch another glimpse at her. It was not the first time he had saw her around their small town. He actually thought of her all the time even though they had never met.
That was all about to change. Set in his mind he knew that seeing her was by chance and this opportunity would not get away from him.
She sat with her friends across the gymnasium. He watched her and waited, hoping if he looked in her direction long enough some mysterious force would bring them eye to eye.
Her friend nudged her on the arm and then they both looked at him. When she turned her head it was like there was no one else in the room but the two of them. They looked at each other and smiled. "Victory is mine", he thought to himself
The two girls began talking. He tried to read their lips, but gave up realizing they were talking about him. Over the next hour they would causally stare at each other smiling back and forth. He sat wondering how he would make his move. At the intermission she and her friends got up and went outside. He made his friend go with him. She stood there smiling at him as he exited the building but he couldn't muster up the courage to talk to her. "Damn it", he said to himself as she walked back inside.
This might be his last chance and he would not let his it go by and knew that tonight he would finally make his move to talk to her.
So many thoughts ran through his mind. He had found his target. Was the moment right? Was this the right situation? If this somebody could be the body. The knowledge that she was interested only increased the excitement.
He got her attention again as she was standing with her friends. She made it a point to leave the gym where he was standing. As she passed he gently grabbed her hand and placed in it the piece of paper. The piece of paper that would change the paths they would choice in life. He realized he didn't have to try so hard, she just wanted him to make the first move.
"Your life is full of indecision
You can't make up your mind.
We must get it in position
And move it on down the line.
'Cause the road is long, it's a long hard climb
I been on that road too long of a time
Yes the road is long, and it winds and winds
When I think of the love that I left behind.
Make me up a bed of roses
And hang them down from the vine
Of all my loves you've been the closest
That's ever been on my mind."
"Coming From the Heart" -Bob Dylan

Good post, great choice of song. I think this post needed a bit more focus.

Victory is mine! /Stewie
This post felt like it was lacking something. A plot perhaps? An ending? However, there is potential.
