I feel privileged. It's not every day you get to literally watch somebody bust a gut. Apparently, Uber users (when gathered together in person, mind you) are so fucking hilarious that they make others go into muscle spasming episodes of hilarity that are uncontrollable. I'm proud to say that I had a part in that little festivity.
Who would have ever thought that such a random, thrown-together bunch of strangers could get along so well. In the short space of 3 days, we managed to go from near-strangers to friends. The generosity, intelligence and perspective this lot had makes me happy to have been in their company. This trip is the epitome of what I want out of life! Good people, good alcohol, enjoying life, no problems whatsoever... what a treat!
Yeah, so now that I have fellated the collective Ubercon Orlando bunch.... moving on.
I would love to tell you that this weekend went off seamlessly, and that we all had a wonderful time and moved on with our lives. However, it seems that we have collectively been stumped by something. Something that is irritating enough to make us question it, even after the fact.
How does a person fail, so miserably, to meet the image they set up for themself? When you decide to spend time with a group of people, do you attach to a persona just to make them like you?
You see, Uber, we ran into a fifth Uber user this weekend. While abstaining from namedropping, I can tell you that this person was a perfect representation of how not to live life. A plethora of selfishness, disrespect, idiocy and an overall lack of awareness are only the beginning of the poor aspects portrayed by this user. Lying, bumming money off others, doing everything to make the entire weekend focused around themself instead of allowing it to be about everyone, the way it was supposed to be...
Despite our efforts, nothing was good enough for this user. More was always expected, while nothing given in return, and appreciation was slim to none. Yes, Ubersite, you have a bottom-feeder among your ranks, and you probably don't even know it. Until now, that is.
If you throw yourself at someone (sexually) and they don't jump back, doesn't that suggest that you are not what they are looking for? Apparently subtlety is not on this user's list of priorities, and neither is self respect! Gamble on seeing this person engaging in a midget train with underage Michael Jackson's crew! (The difference being, Michael is innocent!) Even the collective WE of UberCon Orlando couldn't stop this trainwreck from happening... Don't sweat it though, kids that age are all travel size. Nothing to worry about!
Banging on your fellow Uberites' hotel door at 5 am to bring in some random strangers? Uninvited and unappreciated, at that? Well, we definitely have SOMEONE here willing to do all of that, in the name of getting laid. I thought most of that died after the teenage years were over, but apparently, some people just can't let go. I suppose that's what happens when priorities don't exist and goals disappear. Eh.... there just isn't a legitimate excuse.
There is a lot more story to share, but it will have to wait. I wasn't allowed to sleep, thanks to this considerate user, so I am going to go get some now. It isn't a good idea to be in public with people who can expose you for what you really are. DLC.

I needed to get it off my chest before I allowed to consume my thoughts, because it was that over the top and that disturbing. I did not, however, want to start namedropping and sounding like a finger pointing teenager. Apparently, that's what this has turned into. So now I'm calling somebody out for their behavior. The weekend spent trying to reason the problem out wasn't effective, so I go to the next step, which is involving someone else due to the extremity of the issue. I present a situation, and you turn into a bunch of fucking pirahnas. Nothing like immature behavior from the lot of you, like distorting my motives, to bring out the irony in your own comments. I don't owe you names, and you didn't have to click on this post. There is an entire group of sissy-assed, whiny little bitch users on this site who live their lives so vicariously that handling problems is viewed by the lot as a perfect world scenario. Oh, talk to them and everything will be resolved! Maybe the person doesn't need to be singled out by name (thanks to all of you), but needs to see the impact they are having on others, how much destruction they bring about. Maybe this post wasn't all about YOU, you fucking self-important hacks with no real perception of any grey areas or complicated problems in your lives. Remove the focus off of yourselves and you might find out that this post did EXACTLY what it was supposed to do, and furthermore, that only 3 people understand half of the hints dropped, and the gravity of the situation.
