A Few (More) Suggestions for Ubersite (897 hits)

After reading an old post by youarsoghey (http://www.ubersite.com/m/35544), I thought it would be helpful for Uber to start the discussion again.
First, I'm fine with Uber the way it is. Bart does a great job, and because of him, I can neglect my work yet still look like I am working. And I know that some of these suggestions are just not feasible with current bandwidth, budget, and time constraints. But if they ARE feasible, I think our Uber experience could be greatly enhanced. And I know I'm a n00b - at least from my sign-up date. I've been reading for months. Still, I think the suggestions can at least be considered.
Suggestion #1: Enhance My Uber to include a spot of "favorite authors." I have a handful of favorites, but I have no way of knowing whether they have a new post besides clicking on one of their old posts or one of their reviews. If there was a way to make an Uber user a favorite author (such as another link next to their name and user info), it might be easier to get those new posts.
Suggestion #2: Allow the search to find more than just the title of the post. Maybe search for Uber users or e-mail addresses or (this last one is likely too much) search the content of the post.
Suggestion #3: Sell stuff! I am sure some Uber users out there would cough up some change to buy something of Uber - or at least to support Ubersite. Right now, the Uberboard is all I know to support Ubersite. Or maybe there could be auctions for various things related to Ubersite, such as Bart's toejam.
These are just a few more suggestions to hopefully enhance Uber for everyone. Of course, these are not the only ideas. If you have some, go ahead and write it in your review. Ubersite is awesome!

Most people use the "Bookmarks" menu on their browser. I don't see why this is necessary.

The primary focus of Übersite is information exchange, not goods and services. We would attract an entirely different group of users if bart started selling things all willy-nilly.

This is what I wanted - thanks for the explanation, Slovin. Bookmarks is a great idea, simple and easy. However, one problem with bookmarks is they are computer-specific, and won't stay with your account. As for searching Ubersite via Google, remember how Google's search technology works: posts get placed higher on the search list if they are linked to. If I am searching for a post that is not linked to, it will be difficult to find it. And seriously, I wasn't talking about changing the primary focus of Ubersite. I was suggesting adding a small (read: SMALL) area to help Bart out.

So I took a smoke break during work, and I was standing out there, minding my own business, when this guy who looks just like Bob Saget comes up to the offices fake, rented plant and starts watering it. As I approached him, he got a really nervous look on his face and bolted for the water fountain before I could ask him if he really was Bob Saget. He swam through the fountain, got out, then ran off screaming about the cartoon man on the Pringles can threatening his friends. I knew it wasn't Bob Saget, because Bob Saget doesn't strike me as the type of person who has friends.
