KDE - The Krappy Desktop Environment
Myth: KDE is a slow/bloated window manager
Truth: KDE is actually a suite of applications and libraries which are slow and bloated. Although KDE does include kwin as a default window manager.
Myth: KDE developers don't pay attention to the needs or requests of users.
Truth: KDE developers kare so much about the needs of there users that they need to make an application for every damn thing imaginable. KDE developers spend most of there time working on problems most mainstream Linux users could probably go without.
Myth: The developers have ignored or delayed fixing the bugs I reported. This means they don't care about me as a user.
Truth: Although we appreciate your status as a KDE user, we must put bugs of our interest first.
Myth: KDE applications run slower than applications written for other toolkits or environments.
Truth: A majority of KDE applications do run slower than applications written for other toolkits and environments.
The fact is, KDE can make for an attractive, featureful desktop system.... That can piss you off to no end. KDE uses excuses and a play on words as PR to slip through the critique that experienced linux users put on it.

That's weird- I saw a medical drama special on HBO or something a few days ago about a 15 year old kid who ran his quad into a tree after drinking like fifteen beers, and became (clinically) retarded afterwards.
Which sucks, because I'm sure he thought it was a good idea at the time.
