Apparently I am not assertive. I just returned from a very discouraging visit to the Sprint PCS store. The clerk was about three steps away from grasping me with two hands, scrubbing his ass with my torso and depositing me in the nearest compost bin.
My cell phone has been randomly powering off for the past 3 days. This is quite annoying as I never know when I have missed a call. The blatantly homosexual clerk has informed me that I will need to drive an hour to go pick up my new phone and that it will only cost $10 to replace. He went on to explain that he basically didn't give a shit and promptly went back to tonguing his boyfriend in the corner of the store.
I raised my voice to complain and a bubbly middle aged clerk nodded at me, giggled, and all but pushed me out of the store. I quietly rammed my head against my car for roughly twenty minutes and drove home with an intense headache.
Why am I always the bitch of such situations? I have friends that wrangle free things all the time.
I calmly take the shit dealt to me and attempt to appear happy with it. Cold food? No problem. Overcharged? That's ok. You want to break in front of me? Sure, take my spot.
I've had it. The next person that crosses me is getting spayed or neutered. Anything else I can do for you?

My advice is to retreat from the real world as much as possible. Once you have no real freinds, some kind of internet based job and boarded up windows, your need to assert yourself will disapear and you'll have time for more important aspects of life. Like Uber for example.

Switch to a different company when your contract runs out and make sure you tell Sprint the reason you're switching...that's what I did a few years ago.

Phone companies are such assholes - this morning I tried to cancel service with MCI, and was informed that their computers "could not cancel service at this moment."
Good luck with the phone, but I wouldn't expect phone companies or their employees to be of any help.
