Woody Allen says he, as a filmmaker, is not interested in 9/11.
'It's too small, history overwhelms it," Allen reportedly tells DER SPIEGEL.
"The history of the world is like: He kills me, I kill him, only with different cosmetics and different castings. So in 2001, some fanatics killed some Americans, and now some Americans are killing some Iraqis."
Tuesday's NY POST quotes the master director: "And in my childhood, some Nazis killed Jews. And now, some Jewish people and some Palestinians are killing each other. Political questions, if you go back thousands of years, are ephemeral, not important. History is the same thing over and over again."

i agree. i am sure woody will get plenty of negative press about his remarks, but all and all, he is right. the question is, how can we change it?
by change it i mean after we kill all the red sox fans

It's all in the perspective you take on the issue. In the grand history of the Earth, humans themselves are inconsequential. A blip on the radar. In my life, the fight that two guys in Aching Asshole, Arkansas got into last night is inconsequential. To them it's a big deal. The fact that I lost my job for fucking around too much on Uber doesn't matter one bit to you, but to me it's a life changing event. It's all in your perspective. Where are you standing when you look at the issues?
(I didn't really lose my job, but it made for a nice object lesson, don't you think?)
