You can like whoever you want, but in a hundred years, Hendrix will still be talked about as a musical revolutionary along with the likes of Robert Johnson, Les Paul, Elvis, The Beatles, and The Stones. Yngwie Malmsteen will, at most, be recognized as a bit of retro kitsch.
The only cover of "Red House" that I've heard that is even comparable to Hendrix's live versions is Mick Taylor's. Malmsteen's is just ten minutes of "Look how great of a guitarist I am", which is how most of his songs go.

And then, to make the whole thing worse, as I was walking out the door, the my boss would be all like, "pwned." And I'd have to think to myself, "Gosh, I've always wondered how one is to pronounce that word correctly. Now I guess I know."
So it would be kind of a mixed-bag. On the one hand I'd get fired for trying to copy you, but on the other hand, I'd know how to pronounce that word finally.
