I can't believe all you lemmings really believe the official account of July 4th. Sure, the official account seems to tidily explain everything, but if just look past the surface there are infinite little inconsistencies and fallacies that make the entire story unravel.
Quite simply, it is possible to escape blame if you do something that nobody in the world believes you could do.
Consider this: now, more than ever, the government needs an appeal to patriotism to regenerate the nation's goodwill toward the war in Iraq. What better way to do that than to create a so-called "holiday" that's supposedly been around for more than 200 years? You can't all tell me you remember having a barbeque with your families, then going to see fireworks every year. Think past the brainwashing! I'm willing to bet none of you have done something like that. And if you have, it's just a coincidence.
Let's look back at the supposed 7/04 story. So, apparently there was this "Declaration of Independence" written. Right? Wrong. Why the hell would they have needed to do that? Look at our history with Great Britain. We've always been the best of friends. That seems to be perfectly good evidence to suggest that the entire Revolutionary War is a story created by the government to obscure the truth.
But hey, I'm feeling generous to all you poor blind little worms. Even if we pretend the Revolution actually happened, there are still plenty of holes in the story. Let's see here.
Now, it's painfully obvious that, according to the government's story, the majority of Americans in 1776 were British subjects, right? Riddle me this: why would they then support a rogue government that had no army, no support, and no legitimacy? All this over tea taxes? I can assure you that the structural integrity of a colonial economy can withstand a few boycotts. Clearly, there is something we're not being told.
You might ask how no one has questioned this so far, even though the facts are clearly out there. Well, the answer is simple: no one has the guts to take on the Bush administration. The Patriot Act was designed for just this purpose. Is someone trying to spread the truth? Uh oh, they're being unpatriotic. I guess that means we can jail them, right? But it goes beyond that. Quite simply, the American people are, collectively, blind, deaf, and dumb. If a third grader from another planet was dropped here, he would see through this flimsy tale in an instant. And yet, no one in America has bothered to raise these points, until now. And I'm willing to bet that, even after you read this piece, you'll just sit there on your couches eating your Cheetoes, flatly denying the obvious truth, and teling me to shut up and fade back into the faceless stupor of the average American. It's no wonder they say we're all stupid fat, and lazy.
The thing is, the American people will have to admit they were deceived in order to learn the truth. Honestly, you people make me sick. Why can't you get it through your stupid heads that maybe, just maybe, the Bush administration is capable of such devious trickery? I'll ask once again: can you honestly say you remember celebrating this so-called "Independence Day" every year? I know I can't. Of course, that may just be because my parents locked me in the closet for some reason every year, but that's beside the point. I've never seen fireworks this time of year up until now, and I'm pretty sure the story is the same for most of you, whether you admit it or not.
Look, I'm not saying you have to listen to me. I'm sure most of you will just blindly -2 the hell out of this for being unpatriotic and questioning the government. But in this day and age, someone has to raise his or her voice. How can you, too, make a difference? Tell others. Link to this post on news forums and other areas where people might be receptive to the truth. Remember, you don't need a mass of people to make a difference. The few of us who can begin penetrating Bush's lies can draw plenty of attention to the matter by being as vocal about it as possible.
Maybe then, we'll finally begin to hear the truth.

You forgot to mention how much money Haliburton is making from all of this cover-up. But other than that, it is a very eye-opening piece.
I will say that I recall having cookouts and fireworks on 7/04 during my youth, but that doesn't necessarily mean anything. After reading your article, I'm begining to think that maybe my parents are Government operatives. In fact, the more I think about it, I'm sure of it.
