I bet they see a lot of canoes this time of year. Fleetwood RV Prowler, bearded man, looks nice, has at least as much junk as us in or little caravan.
Bigger rocks now. They couldn't build this road nowadays, blowing up the escarpment. I'll say it again, fuck the escarpment. Stupid glaciers, stupid humans. Perfectly flat road though, as if that's really what matters. Solid rock, not so solid anymore.

Beautiful lake. Not much to do except swim eat, sit, talk, fish, cliff dive, play cards, play backgammon, play with the dog, write, think, sleep, lie in the sun, plan the next trip, drink, play catch, cook meals, watch the water-plane, read, listen to music, tie knots, complain about the weather, praise the weather, laugh at people and laugh at the dog.

Army boy is building a nice looking fire. He's being very clumsy about it though. I know I could build a better one, but I don't feel like helping him much right now. Not a bad job, but you can tell he wasn't in the Boy Scouts. He is only in the reserves after all.

This book is good, but not as good as dinner smells. Angels & Demons and spaghetti with souvlaki. That's really where it's at. The smoke does get in my eyes, but it brings heat with it. Also, I love pig meat.
