I don't know why, but all day today was shaping up to be one of those days you wish you could look back on, douse in gasoline, and set on fire. Maybe I just woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning. Maybe it was the hot sauce covered pineapple I had to remove from my sphincter this morning. Either way, I just knew it was going to be one of those days.
I spent most of the morning going through the same thing that I'd done the past 3 days, which was the entertainment of spending hours on the phone being bounced back and forth to Indian (curry not peyote) call center techs that couldn't tell the difference between a hard drive and a floppy dick.
As fun as all this may sound to you, it didn't amuse me in the least bit. So I spent the whole day in a pissed off mood. I'm sure you've all been there. You just wish you could take some sleeping pills and hibernate through a couple weeks or so.
Anyway, after being pissed all day I took a break ran up to the store and bought a pack of smokes, as soon as I got back to work, the skies lit up with lightning, and probably the best storm I've seen in months happened upon me. So I sat there with smoke in hand watching one of nature's most soothing movies.
While I was standing there, I saw something moving along the ground, and of course my inquisitive nature got the best of me, I had to check it out. I stood in the rain like a fat kid chasing a rolling doughnut trying to catch this little thing. Finally, when I did, I realized that whatever had caused me to be so pissed off all day, was now gone.
It's amazing what a difference the little things can make.
