I debated on a story for my first submission .. but I really enjoy this poem I wrote so I thought I'd share this instead.
People think they know you,
They assume they've seen your soul;
Asked you every question,
Consumed all you've told.
But suprises are in order,
I know what I must do;
The walls are closing in here,
But I will not leave with you.
You think you know the person,
Who lives behind the door;
When you finally turn the handle;
No one's there anymore.
