I live in one of the suburbs of Chicago, and I just read about something that happened very near me on Thursday and I just can't believe it.
On Thursday morning Jeanette Sliwinski who is 23 had a fight with her mother. That afternoon she went out driving with the intent of killing herself. In an attempt to do so she began speeding down one of the busiest streets of the city at about 70 mph, running three red lights, until she deliberately rammed her car into the rear of another car that was stopped at a red light. All three passengers in the other car were killed. Jeanette had only minor injuries and is currently in the hospital.
How the fuck can someone be so incredibly stupid and fucking inconsiderate. Why not crash your fucking car into a tree, or go bearhunting a spatula, or jump into Lake Michigan you dumb shit.
And then on Saturday she issued a statement from her hospital bed saying, "I pray and beg for forgiveness from everyone who is saddened by the deaths." I know that if I were friends/family of one of the victims then this fucking sad excuse for an apology would mean absolutely shit to me.
It's cases like this that make me think that maybe the death penalty isn't all that bad. Fucking bitch

I had thought about making a post yesterday entitled "Jennifer Sliwinski Must Die."
The three people she killed (Doug Meis, John Glick, and Michael Dahlquist) were all well-known Chicago area musicians on their break from their jobs at Shure. Dahlquist was the drummer for one of the greatest bands ever, Silkworm.

It's kind of funny...even if she gets sentenced to death, she's getting what she wanted. In addition she gets the sympathy and bullshit of all the people who will bitch and moan and say, "Oh, but she was so depressed!" because they have nothing better to do with their fucking lives.
