OK I *thought* that you had found/ been sent the web page and either you thought it was real or you were posting it as fact. Bearing in mind that I know more about the events than about 95% of uber, partly due to being a bit older, and educated, and partly due to being sat on my arse reading the Intra web and waiting for my stitches to heal for the last two weeks.

The police aren't just sitting back watching the anti- war protests (that's what the law about face covering mentioned there is all about) They are also changing the law on spreading religious hatred- people who stand up saying "death to Tony Blair" or whatver will be deported.
The protest in the streets was at the American Embassy, and was really about the clowns running Guantanimo Bay, with Tony Blair mentioned as an afterthought. It was months BEFORE the London bombings, not a reaction to it, as I thought your post implied.
Now, I happen to know a bit about how the UK police deal with riots because we had one where I live after a football match last year. As there were so many people involved the police tactic was to video and contain the rioters (It was a stupid riot, it happened because my city beat their closest and most hated riots. The chavs involved smashed up their own city) Anyway, afterwards there was a massive police offensive and they hunted down and jailed all the rioters, including a handfull of kids from the school where I teach. They showed the video footage to everyone they could think of, and also published pictures in the local paper.
What I am trying to say is that nobody is tolerating race hatred by a minority of Muslims- there is a fair justice system in place to deal with them.
It's not as black and white as you make out.

I don't recall anyone ever being arrested for the protests at the embassy. In the US what they were doing could have been considered illegal, I am not sure about the UK, but from what you said the face covering and chanting death to Tony Blair is illegal there.
I think jack's point is that if they weren't middle eastern they would have been prosecuted, but since they are nobody in power wanted to offend them.

I think the March 7th bombers were all of South Asian descent, not Middle Eastern.
Anyway, I stopped by to review because I saw Supreme_Overlord's little crusade, and I just wanted to say that he is an extremely erratic reviewer from way back, who I'd thought had been long banned. He probably will be again, since this kind of flaming is a banning offense in this new more restrictive uber.

There's a well known mosque here in my city, after one of my friends was jumped by a bunch of Lebs (because they don't fight one on one unless strapped with TNT I guess) we got a group together and spent the night spray painting, pissing and smashing whatever we could find.
It made the papers as a hate crime. Go figure.
I guess 'eye for an eye' only applies if you're an arab.

When I was living over there I saw some of those soap box terrorists first hand. I was pretty amazed, this was about five years ago now, but they were already warming up. The crowd around them too, all Lebs and other various darkies, were making threats right to my face.
Of course I was smoking obscene amounts of shitty English weed and was more inclined towards peace and love and brotherhood of man, blah blah. That's what happens when you back pack for two years. If I could go back to that moment now, I'd probably tear some scrot.

Get this. Last weekend some girl was shot and killed in Berkeley. Twenty-something, just a kid. The first news releases listed height, hair and eye color, clothing, approximate age... and that was it. No race. That appeared in later reports, but at the time, it was pretty confusing.
Fuckin California.
