Now I'm not sure if this has ever been posted if, if it has, I apologize. I am just trying to compile a list of the best TV Das out there.
1. Homer Simpson(The Simpsons), like anyone wouldn't think of this one.
2. Al Bundy(Married with Children), thanks God for reruns.
3. Red Forman(That 70's Show), just about as awesome as awesome gets.
4. Peter Griffin(The Family Guy), for those of you who have the cartoon network, Family Guy is on Sun-Thursday at 11:30pm.
.....I'm pretty tired so that's all I can muster, and for fucks sake, don't be a dick and be like "Dude....(blank) is a sorry show, he sucks." Cheers!

I'm pretty sure it's the same as Costanza's dad,
but the King of Queens dad is so great.

Remember when Peter bought that novelty fire extinguisher, and the whole house burned down? Hilarious...

Ozzy. There's nothing funnier then watching the blank look on his face while something is going on around him. Even though the show is pretty much done with that blank look will always make me laugh.

I would have sed Cliff Huxtable (cosby) but he expected waaaay too much from his kids. I wouldn't want to be raised by a doctor and a lawyer. Unless they spoiled me, which the huxtables didn't.

"4. Peter Griffin(The Family Guy), for those of you who have the cartoon network, Family Guy is on Sun-Thursday at 11:30pm."
That is, without a doubt, the best show ever. They stopped airing it in the US. I had to go on Kazaa and download ever episode. What country are you in, where they play it Sun-Thurs????
+2 for Peter Griffin.
"What's your name?"
"Uh, Uh, (looking a pea)
"Uh, Pe, uh (looking at dirty table)"
"Uh, Pe, Dirt, (a griffin flies by)"
"Uh, PeDirt Griffin, uhhh crap!"

Jack Bauer kicks ass. All he has to do is ask for something and it appears. "WHERE'S THE BOMB?" he asks, and the bomb shows up. "WHERE'S MY DAQUIRI?" and they give 'im a daquiri. "WHERE'RE MY MAD BITCHES?" and they give him mad bitches. He's a good dad because he encourages his daughter to shoot people, like on last night's 24. That show rocks.
Peter Griffin has my vote.

chipolatte got the best one - Mr. Costanza on Seinfeld.
* "Serenity now!"
* "You... want a piece... of me?"
* stopping short
* the manziere
Then there's always Alan Thicke from Growing Pains or Mr. C(unningham) from Happy Days.

Streetpunk is right, Goodman rocks. What about Grandpa Simpson, Fred Flintstone and even though hes a father figure, not a father, the professor from Futurama. I can't think of his name, I'm way too stoned to think rationally. Fuck, a truck pulled up.

Bill Bixby? Wasnt that the guy who played Bruce banner on the old school hulk tv show, where the same thing would happened everytime? Bruce would get locked in a closet of some shit, Lou Ferrigno would come out all hulked up and go "UHHH HULK MAD" then proceed to hand eveyrone their asses? Haha, man those were the days.
Let's see, in hindsight, I would place Peter Griffin at the No.1 spot.
I think both those guys from "My Two Dads" should get their asses kicked for being on a show called "My Two Dads."

And let's not forget Bill Bixby (God rest his soul), from 'The Courtship of Eddy's Father'.
And Mrs. Livingston-what an ass she had.
