I hear alot of people bitching about how Ubersite's dying or how they're leaving it because it sucks, but no one's offering any ideas on how to fix the tardstorm of Alters, shit posts, blah blah blah.
How about take a hint from SomethingAwful.com?
Charge ten bucks to set up an account to discourage alters and random cunts who just like dicking people around. Only people who genuinely gave a shit would sign up for an account.
Maybe even charge two cents to post a rating. Two cents, get it?! GOD I'M AWESOME. I Kid you.
Seriously, though. Only people with accounts could rate and create posts, but anyone with a pair of eyes and a modem could read them. Fun for everyone. Keep tards out. Keep Ubersite uber. Seig Heil.
