I need help.

<Such a fucking woman, needy...>

I am a horrible person to sleep next to. I talk, I breathe loudly, I scratch my legs, I make weird noises with my throat, I grind my teeth, I sit up and shout, I roll all over the place, and as my fiance likes to point out, when I roll, I take all the covers with me.

And sometimes I cry. In my sleep.

I don't usually have nightmares, but there've been a few. Like last night.

There was a stripper that tore my life apart. It started out with my fiance taking my cousin Jim and his best friend to Dancers, a strip club a mile or two away. Without my knowledge, as I am against him going to strip clubs, unless I'm with him, I think they are seedy places, and are not needed UNLESS it's a group activity (that includes ME).

Fast forward (in my dream) a couple weeks. I come home to our apartment and this short RED headed stripper is walking around my place with nothing but boots. I get angry, she confesses that she has been banging my fiance for 6-8 weeks. (weird figure). Then she proceeds to tell me how they met, and how she is a stripper at Dancers. I get red faced and she leaves, and I am devastated.

My fiance admits to all of it. And I am FLOORED. We are OVER, I move out, and I just keep crying.

end of dream...

I was waking up throughout, and I fell right back in. Tossing and turning all night and whimpering.

Have you ever woken up and believed what happened in your dream is reality?? I have dreamt about cheating dreams with my past boyfriends, and woke up to believe it's true. It's 4:15 now, and I still can't shake the feeling.

However, my fiance would never cheat on me, nor would I on him. WTF is my problem?

I HATE fucking strippers. DIRTY.....YUCK.

Few men could resist a redhaired stripper... if it's the real thing of course.

Just accept the fact that he is like a pond: On the surface, all is pleasant, lilypads and happy frogs and buzzing dragonflies under a sunny sky. Below the surface, murk, a layer of scum, and bottom feeders.

We did talk about it, and he laughed about it at first. Then he took my face in his hands, and said, "You know, I'd never, in a million years cheat on you. You know that right?" And I agreed, I know it.

But he doesn't EVEN GO to nudie bars. He has, when he was single. Whenever him and my brother hang out, that's all the talk about. He doesn't go anymore tho.

But I do have to agree that since I have been cheated on, and even though I do have all the trust in the world for Jason, but maybe there is that nagging doubt of me getting hurt again like that. Isn't that a normal defense mechanism? When he's with my brother, they talked about it, like twice in front of me. And I do loathe the places of stripping. So maybe my subconsious did take my worst fears and scare my consciousness. Damn Id and Ego!

My suggestion would be for you (possibly both) to get in some pre-marital counseling.

You may have some latent issues you need to work through before you are ready for marriage.

He's right you know.

Still at least he should know you really care about him otherwise you'd wouldn't be so terrified of losing him. Kind of sweet really.

freudian psychology would have a few things to say about this. but seriously, if your dream freaked you out this much, you should seriously at least talk to your fiance about this. further, your fear might be decidedly more subconscious than you'll let yourself believe. i think it might have something to do with the fact that you've been cheated on before and that no matter how much you say you trust someone, there's still that nagging doubt. further, the fact that he used to go to strip clubs but does not anymore might perturb you because that leaves the possibility that he still could if he chose. (the fact that this is all he talks about with his best friend/your cousin probably doesn't help the situation.) anyway, seriously, just talk to him about it and see what happens. plus, you sound like you've got a little denial (i'm not trying to be an asshole; i seriously mean it.)

Ooooohhhhh...I HATE dreams that feel like they're real.

It's very upsetting and takes a while to work out of your mind. Just remember, it wasn't real.

I woke up once from a dream that I had won the lottery. It wasn't a lot of money - like a million, or so. But I remember thinking how nice it was going to be to pay my house off and maybe have a few toys and a vacation or two.

I remember dreaming that I had given my money to my mother - because I sucked at managing money - and she was going to keep me from pissing it away. I woke up and started looking for my money.

Then I realized God was just fucking with me.

Really, yesterday he wanted me to go to the store with him, and I refused because I wanted to start making dinner (we were having my family over). So he got all pouty, and told me he'll go the strip club instead of the store. I just shrugged it off, it didn't even bother me. But the mention of it, maybe sparked this stupid stupid fucking dream.

Is it a jealousy thing? Nah, he's all mine. I'm not worried about some crackhead floozy picking him up. I think it's more of a "how would we have a healthy relationship if he feels the need to go to a strip club without me??" ALTHOUGH in real life he never has gone without me.

Women are nuts. I was never nuts like this. I am insane. Ugh, to have a penis...jkjkjkjkjk yuck, sweaty balls would be weird.

My wife has similar dreams and shares the same opinion of the nudie bars. My guess is that you have a subconscious fear the dancers are more appealing than you, and they will steal him away.

Fight fire with fire. Simple solution is for you to learn how to do what the strippers do and he'll never wanna go to the nudie bar without you again.

your problem is this.

1. you are not trusting
2. you are afraid of committment
3. YOu are blame shifting (it is not the stripper's fault)
----------------

In the dream, I was floored at my fiance, and woke up pissed off at him too. Now in my clearer state, I know he did nothing, but that is the feeling I can't shake.

I want to spend the rest of my life growing old with this man, there is no one else I could imagine being with. He has never cheated on a girlfriend, and neither have I. But we both have been cheated on. I trust him completely that he would never cheat. Which is why I'm flabbergasted as to why I dreamt this! wtf!

"We've been cheating for... 6-8 weeks."
"6-8 weeks?"
"Well, I just got this t-shirt in the mail... and I remember that this t-shirt was supposed to come in 6-8 weeks... so that's how I know."

Your problem is that you order too many t-shirts in the mail, and you're afraid that eventually one is going to be a stripper.
