i don't know how many uber-users watch [adult swim], but i've seen quite a few commericals on there as of late for some website called "www.oddsagainst7even.com" what with all the indy music they throw at you in the commercial and the numerous times it was played, i was quite intrigued. it was something along the lines of "holy shit...look at those production values...and the air time...where the hell did those bands get the money?" then it transitioned to "hmm...i wonder if they're any good...maybe if i'm bored i'll check it out..."
i got bored today, and thought "what the hell?" i opened up my browser and dutifully entered the address in hopes of finding some free .mp3s or perchance a cool band or something funny, etc. what i got was quite different.
at load, this flash page comes up and a video starts playing, like some serious high-quality video. it didn't make a whole lot of sense, but i thought i'd give it a whirl. anyway, after much searching, i finally figured out what was up. there were little bullseyes on the front page that looked all-too-familiar. then, there were tours of the rooms of characters in the video (seriously lame-ass.) anyway, then the bullseyes showed up again and holy shit, it hit me. the whole site was a fucking advertisement for Target, Wal-Mart's slightly more posh competitor. HOLY SHIT!!!!!!
those bastards. i plan on boycotting both www.oddsagainst7even.com as well as Target for their ridiculous attempt to suck unsuspecting dumbasses into their web of preppy college supplies (and yes, i'm aware that this may qualify me as a dumbass, but i've seen the error of my ways.) who's with me?!

It looks like the movie, or TV show, or whatever is just SPONSORED by Target.
After watching the first episode, there's not a single Target pitch in it. Just an innocent little text link here or there on the page.
Everything expensive needs to be paid for by someone, dude. Well, except for when you steal it, but you can't exactly go out and STEAL good production values.
... Or can you?

Wow. I just read the entire post. I feel like a minute of my life has been cruelly taken away from me.

With a name like 'rick_the_stud' you'd think that you'd suck a little less.
Kill yourself to death.

You didn't see the Target logo in the commercial?
I've seen that about 300 times, still have yet to visit the site, and was fully aware it was a product of Target.

You need to shoplift from Target, not boycott it!
