You know those times where you know that you've been lied to and used, but you'd rather not admit it to yourself? This is one of them. You open yourself up to a person completely, and they turn around and abuse you and your feelings; almost like they didn't care about what you at all. Of course, when you point out that you are getting hurt, everything is turned around, and she's completely sorry for hurting you, and feels bad for it. Albeit its obvious that she means nothing that she says to you, you soak up the words like a sponge and bask in the self-pity and hatred you feel twords youself, twords her, twords everyone.
There are, of course, reasons behind her madness. The casual glances your way as you walked by, the long moments spent gazing into each others eyes; all torn apart by the times you saw her hanging on him, or when you could tell that she didn't really want you around, and was longing for soembody else. The double meanings that everything she said had. You always had that feeling in the back of your mind, that when she said "I don't want to hurt anybody," she really meant that she didn't want to hurt you. She claimed to have loved you more than life itself, albeit secret as it was; but her love disappeared oh-so-quickly, when she saw your friend for the first time. Its quite easy to feign interest in a person. Especially when you don't even have to see them daily. Instant messaging programs are probably the best method for this, as she, and now you; have learned. Its just as easy to type out the caring, nurturing phrases; as it is to type out the ones that hurt, or do a little bit of damage.
Its a matter of kindness, though. Kindness, as many words do, has almost a billion different meanings and interpretations. She thinks she's being kind by keeping the truth from you, and dragging on the torture. You think that it would be kind of her to just let you live, instead of putting you in a kind of hell where you can build some confidence, but be shot down over and over. IT never was truly kind of her, anything she did. Even with the rationalizations she made herself, I am convinced that she always knew what was going on. How could she not? Oh well, after what happened soon after I realized she was full of shit makes me on content fucker.
Karma. Probably the best idea ever conceived by whatever majestic power created us. No matter how bad somebody is fucking you over, you can rest easy, knowing that they'll eventually get their fair share of shit. Case in point: this situation. She decided to fuck around with my friend and my feelings for three weeks, only to have me say "fuck this;" to find out that...BOOM. he's got another love interest. Its bordering on ironic. The entire situation was switched around on HER. Whether or not she really deserves this, is anyone's guess. I've forgiven her and moved on to better things. She on the other hand, gets stuck.
All this said, I really can't fucking stand drama.
