PROLOGUE
http://www.ubersite.com/m/69343

Many people have asked me about the world that my stories, the Exodus Chronicles, takes place in. Here is the explanation in ten sections, dealing with the history, characters, technology, and inspiration behind the Chronicles.

Thank you to Doctorj24 for consistently providing criticism to the chapters.

Thank you Kaos King, I'd love to see the world you created for yourself. It takes a lot to form a whole mythology of a world, but it's what people like Tolkien did, so it pays off eventually, hopefully.

My world isn't as broad as yours, as it only goes back to 1066. Everything in our world and the World of Angels are the same until October 1066, when the timelines of the worlds diverged. Still, I have a great deal of history written, several megabytes of files and pages and pages of figures relating to the world. Just picking a random page from my notebook, I take out a record of the battles and divisions of the Holy Roman-Hungarian War, in the late 1890s of the World of Angels.

I have your website open on my screen, and I'm going to read it and your Uber posts as soon as I can. Once again, thank you, kaos King.

First of all, take another plus two because you deserve it.

I would love it if you (and anyone else, for that matter) would check out my website.

I go by Antius777 on, well, everything else on the net. My site contains a summary for my main project "Petty Like A God," as well as detailed bits about other tales I'm working on. It also has dozens of my illustrations that have been done for various stories and anthologies. It links to my e-mail account, so if you have any comments or critiques, I would love to hear them.

Once again, you are a true Writer here on Uber. No, I take that back. You are a creator - And that's something more...

Axolotl, you are one of my new heroes. I thought I was the only one truly insane enough to do things like this for story lines. I, too, design elaborate plans for social structures, cultures, character histories, and what not. I have a storyline with a secret world history dating back 5000 years, complete with maps. I have a storyline with a complex layouts detailing various warp gates located around the planet and when they were created. I have a storyline with a multi-ethnic pantheon of deities that have all mated with each other. Ax... I understand.

This is what you need to do to create a rich, well detailed world that can be read, understood and loved. If you need to break out equipment to make scaled drawings of the castle of the Anti-Christ, even if no one will ever see them - you do it. Personally, I have enough rendered illustrations of the characters from my novel in progress to fill a portfolio. It helps me to visualize them better. Ax... I understand.

Aidan took command of his mercenary regiment in June of 2001, when he was twenty-two, just out of Koenigsburg Academy. One part of his intelligence and reflexes is the fact that he had been fighting constantly for almost three years in wars around the world, but another part of the reason why he is powerful will be revealed later...maybe in the Exodus Chronicles Book Two.

Very nice, that really helps in putting it all together. I was surprised at how young Aidan is - 25? By his battle experience, maturity, and demeanor, I would have put him at least at 30.

And you're welcome on the criticism. I've been here since the beginning, so I might as well stick with it. This is one of my favorite series on Uber; perhaps THE favorite. I'm ready for more.

Coo, thorpe.

I have all the chapter headings if you want those too, I didn't put them on uber though.

It's 174 pages or more in word.

What's with you -2 spamming my posts Falco? Is it because I gave you a single -2 on one of your posts? I think you ought to find something better to do.

I loved reading this.

It reminded me of a book (that I never finished and can't remember who wrote) about the Nazis winning WW2.

I too really enjoyed the Pullman books.

I never read anything with a number in the title because I find it really hard to pick things up, and find all the posts. I am glad this had a number one and I gave it a go.

I admire people who can immerse themselves so deeply in this kind of imaginary bullshit. It only takes two minutes for my natural apathy to kick in and demand I go for a beer instead.

Sorry if this took a while to make. Names, dates, technology, events. None of it means anything, even in loose context of your stories. This whole post just seems self-righteous.
