I've actually always been into Jungian theory but only as an interesting theory. Between him, Freud, and the others in the psychoanalytic tradition, Jung is my favorite.
I've been wanting to do a post about his concept of Synchronicity. Did you know that The Police's album Synchronicity had a lot of Jungian psychology in it? Apparently Sting digs Jung too.
Have you ever had a chance to take a Jungian personality test (introvert/extrovert) or an Archetype test? I'm a "Knight" archetype (I guess that is why I'm a champion of lost causes). Of course, Jungian psychology (as well as Freudian) cannot be empirically tested and so is ultimately is bunk.
I can't stand Freud. He wasn't even the first theorist to introduce the concept of the subconscious.

What's amazing is that their theories are still in textbooks.
My pysch teacher hated Freud; of course he leans heavily on the body causing most of the psych disorders.
My mythology and english classes mentioned Jungian archetypes, and used them as core parts of units.
It's amazing that these guys' theories are still being used today when you read some of the crap they wrote.
